  I have had excellent care from Dr. Van Gomple. I'd like to give him 5 Stars for his professional, thorough practice of medicine. Unfortunately, dealing with his office has not always gone so well, I have ongoing problems managing my prescriptions, and getting appointments for tests I was referred for. I was told in all cases that the contacts would be handled by his office - and yet they WERE NOT. In the case of my prescriptions, I am trying (unsuccessfully) to transfer my prescriptions from one mail-order service to another, after changing my health plan in January of this year. My new mail-order service has contacted his office several times now, and they have responded multiple times BY SENDING ALL MY PRESCRIPTIONS TO A LOCAL PHARMACY I QUIT USING TWO YEARS AGO. I am not even in that area, which is why I don't use them any more! Then the Pharmacy contacts me to come pick up my meds, which I cannot do, and the office rejects the new mail-order company's requests for approval of my prescriptions. I am tempted to rate this deficiency even more harshly, because I am now LONG overdue to have my prescriptions (had extras stored up, so thought I would get this resolved in plenty of time. Now it is May, and I have not gotten my renewal since January! This is not acceptable! I will try again this AM to get this straightened out, but decided I needed to flag this, so others may be wary of how their issues my be handled (or mishandled).
